¹¹ Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers. Then the magicians of Egypt likewise performed with their secret arts. ¹² For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. ¹³ Nonetheless, Pharaoh’s heart hardened so that he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.
